CCC Classes Start Thursday

PLATTSBURGH, NY – Clinton Community College will welcome new and returning students for the start of the 2011-2012 Spring semester on Thursday, January 26.

Nearly 1400 full and part time students will be attending Clinton for the spring semester.

Clinton Community College President, John Jablonski said, “The start of the Spring semester is always an exciting time on campus. Students are back after Winter break and the campus comes alive with renewed energy.”

Though students were off campus over the past month, the College was busy with activity.At the beginning of January, the College held a news conference introducing the Co-Chairs of the Clearly Clinton Campaign. Owners of Jeffords Steel and Engineering, Larry and Judy Jeffords will lead the fundraising efforts. The campaign is a five-year, $7.5 million dollar fundraising effort to help build a 21^st Century Learning Commons on campus.

A number of cultural and academic activities will be taking place on campus throughout the year for students, staff and the community.
