1. Use the paper recycling bags in the library and around campus.

2. Don’t throw away your misprints.

Keep them as scrap paper. Print on the blank side or use them as scrap to jot down notes.

3. Buy recycled paper.

According to Conservatree, Bay Area non-profit organization, "Every ton of recycled paper substituted for non-recycled paper saves 12 trees (newspaper) to 24 trees (office papers) and a significant amount of energy and water that otherwise would be required to make paper from trees. Recycled paper also reduces air pollutants, a byproduct of paper production." PSSI-Stanford Recycling Center.
