Financial aid professionals will be available to answer questions about types of aid available and the award process. Although we will provide assistance in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), Web Access will NOT be provided to participants.
Registration
To sign up for the SUNY Financial Aid Day, please go to the SUNY registration page at: www.suny.edu/StudentEvents or call 1-800-342-3811. If you encounter any registration problems or have questions about the event, please contact the Financial Aid Office at (518) 562-4125.
Be Prepared!
Prior to arriving at the Financial Aid Day session, it is highly recommended that you complete the following:
Obtain a Federal Personal Identification Number (PIN) for the student and at least one parent. PINs can be requested online at: www.pin.ed.gov
Complete the 2012-2013 FAFSA Pre-Application Worksheet. The worksheet is available here:
• Please bring your 2011 Federal Tax Return (if you have not yet completed your return, be prepared to estimate the information!)
• You may want to bring your 2011 NYS Tax Return if you would like assistance with the NYS TAP application.
Program Agenda
Please note that the program at Clinton Community College is designed to assist with FAFSA completion and answer any associated questions. We will arm you with what you need to complete your FAFSA once you return home. We WILL NOT be submitting FAFSA’s during this presentation.
Individual counseling will be provided as necessary to address specific questions and concerns.
